Dan Zupnick is a partner at Ritholz Levy Fields LLP. Dan’s practice is focused on commercial, corporate, and intellectual property transactional matters for clients in the apparel, action sports, entertainment, film and television, consumer goods, and hospitality industries.
Dan’s corporate and commercial law practice involves counseling on the structuring and financing of business entities, corporate governance and operations, dispute resolution, anti-trust matters, employment matters, product distribution agreements, and merger and acquisition transactions. Notably, he has served as a key legal advisor in numerous asset-sale and stock-sale acquisition transactions, and equity and debt private placement offerings.
Dan is also an experienced intellectual property attorney, routinely counseling on copyright and trademark strategy, protection and enforcement matters, the prosecution and defense of infringement allegations, intellectual property licensing arrangements, and celebrity and athlete endorsement agreements.
Before joining Ritholz Levy Fields, Dan served a fellowship with the Pro Bono Partnership, assisting with the transactional legal needs of non-profit organizations throughout the Tri-State Area, followed by engagements with the Business and Legal Affairs Department at Sony Music Entertainment, and two boutique business and entertainment law firms in Manhattan.
